Mike Bass is a singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist. He blends Americana, folk, and indie-folk with unique fingerpicking, snapping, and percussive elements on the guitar while playing. He is bilingual in English and Japanese, and has original songs in both languages. You can find Mike in a mixture of performing in-real-life gigs and streaming online. Mike is originally from Lansing, Michigan, and is now based in Austin, Texas.

I don't abuse breaks
I don't get inebriated on the job (or in general)
I maintain a positive vibe throughout the gig
I'm kind to the staff, and check in with them throughout the gig to make sure it's going well or if they need me to adjust anything (e.g. volume settings)

Alter My Direction concludes the story arc of moving on from the ending of a relationship. With every relationship that ends, while I retain scars, I also come away with new strengths and new insights on where I need to improve.
